Sweet tree decorations

Super quick and easy Christmas tree baubles with a difference. The only real challenge is to not eat the contents before you're supposed to!

What you'll need:
- Clear plastic split baubles (from just about any craft store)
- Sweets (anything you like, but stay away from anything that could be melted by the lights on the tree, like unwrapped chocolate)
- Permanent paint markers

Put the sweets into one half of the bauble (maximum 25g so it doesn't make the branch droop). Put the other half of the bauble on, ensuring the the hanging loops are aligned before you click them shut. Thread the string through and make a sturdy knot. Then decorate with the paint marker by writing a name or message, or drawing some snowflakes on. Don't overdo it - you want the sweets to show up bright against the tree.

And presto! There you have your homemade, personalised, edible tree baubles. You could make it even more personal by using the favourite sweets of each person you're making one for. And you can use the baubles again after they've been emptied - just be gentle when opening and closing them.

And if anyone knows someone called Stella, I've got hers ready to ship right here!

I also make these to order, please contact me via the website:
